nerd studio is a cutting-edge architectural practice based in Bangkok, Thailand, led by Chawapol Watcharasukarn and Benya SIngusaha. The studio specializes in crafting narratives through experimental research,innovative design, and technological integration, pushing the boundaries of conventional architecture.
At nerd Studio, the focus lies in exploring the intersection of architecture, experimentation, and technology.
This approach is evident in various works, including the virtual reality installation ‘Narratives in Boundless Space,’ showcased during Venice 2018, and ‘Breaking Glass II – The Virtual Image,’ exhibited in Frankfurt 2019.
The latter project utilized software-based drawing interfaces to create tools that foster alternative architectural interpretations and explorations.
Additionally, the studio’s research extends to the realm of virtual reality with projects like ‘Spatial Fabulations and Other Tales of Representation in Virtual Reality’ in Munich, 2020.
